FEATURES OF GOTS CERTIFICATION

1. Contain not less than 95% certified, natural organic fibers. A product with the label, ‘made with organic’ must use a minimum of 70% organic fibers.
2. Manufacturing centers must abide with strict social environment, and ethical standards, employee and the environment must be treated with the utmost respect.
3. Bleaches used must be based on oxygen, formaldehyde aromatic solvents, and similar compounds are banned.
4. Colouring may be done only with non-toxic dyes. Azo dyes that release carcinogenic compounds are strictly prohibited.
